Biography
I work to bring a calm, supportive, and client-centered approach to every session. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I tailor my counseling approach to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, recognizing that no two individuals or situations are the same. I believe in collaborating with clients to help them develop insight, coping skills, and confidence to work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Frequently asked questions
What does our first session look like?
The first session consists of an assessment to gather background information for the Clinical Comprehensive Assessment. During this time we would also work on getting to know one another and discuss goals of counseling.
How long does therapy typically take?
Therapy experience is different for every person. We do not fit into a box and healing and change is not linear. It is fluid and bumpy at times. However progress does happen the more energy one puts into their counseling journey.
What if my child or teen won't open up to you?
I strive to do my best to create a safe space for the client no matter the age. I remain patient and take a unique approach to counseling to make casual conversation and make it not feel like it is an appointment. If after a month or so they are still not participating we then discuss the possibility that the client may not yet be ready for counseling services, but I do know that trust takes time to develop.
