Biography

I am a compassionate mental health therapist who graduated from Loyola University in Chicago, with a specialization in mental health and trauma processing. I provide psychotherapy to teens, young adults, and adults. I offer a nurturing, nonjudgmental, inviting and warm space to my practice, utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions to help you overcome any obstacles you may be facing. I have worked with a variety of therapeutic approaches in my practice, including trauma-based and psychodynamic frameworks, mindfulness and meditation, cognitive therapies (stemming from CBT/DBT), relational and interpersonal approaches. My clinical interests include whole-person centered care, teens and adults facing difficult life-transitions and adjustments, self-esteem, mood disorders, complex trauma, and emerging young adulthood. I believe that providing a warm, safe space for individuals to consider and care for each part of self (mind-body-spirit) paves the path towards healing. I approach our conversations with both curiosity and intuition. My ultimate goal is for every person to feel safe and comfortable sharing their story, developing a connection that promotes lasting change, and identifying goals where we can journey through this work together.
