Hello, I’m Dr. Sehrish Tariq, and I serve as the Clinical Director at WellQor for Illinois, Michigan, and New York. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University and am a licensed Psypact provider, which enables me to offer services across 31 states nationwide. My journey into psychology was driven by a desire to support others in achieving personal and vocational growth. I’ve always been deeply fascinated by human behavior and mental health, and that passion continues to guide my work with clients every day. I bring a broad range of clinical experience across diverse populations and settings. I specialize in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My background also includes extensive experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, group therapy, and family therapy. I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide array of challenges, including oppositional and risk-taking behaviors, attention-related difficulties, parenting and discipline concerns, domestic violence, eating disorders, academic and motivational issues, ADHD, substance use, depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Through my years in practice, I’ve learned that meaningful change starts from within. While we may not be able to control our external environment, we can shift how we interpret and respond to it. I believe in empowering clients to make those internal changes that lead to greater happiness and fulfillment. As your therapist, I’m here to help you become the change you want to see in your life. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
