I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a specialization in working with children and their families. With over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about helping young individuals navigate the challenges of growing up, including emotional struggles, behavioral concerns, trauma, and developmental issues. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel heard, understood, and empowered to express themselves. I utilize a combination of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and family therapy techniques to address the unique needs of each child. My goal is to work collaboratively with both the child and their family to build positive coping strategies, enhance emotional resilience, and strengthen communication within the home. I also offer support for parents, providing them with practical tools and strategies to nurture their child's emotional well being and foster a healthy, open relationship. Our son really liked this doctor, he was very welcoming and personable especially for a first s session. He spoke directly to our son which was appreciated by all. Little games helped to redirect and observe behavior without it being obvious that was happening.
