Biography

I am a passionate and experienced social worker dedicated to helping children and adolescents thrive. My background includes providing crisis intervention at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, but I've found my true calling as a school social worker. I provide direct counseling services to middle school students, addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, bullying, and trauma. I understand the unique pressures and challenges that young people face in today's world, and I tailor my approach to each individual's circumstances and strengths. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT and DBT, to empower my clients to overcome obstacles and develop the tools and resources they need to be successful. I also work with mood disorders, self-care, overcoming trauma, life transitions, and general life issues. As a team, my clients and I will work together to achieve their goals.
