Biography

Hi! I’m Kristy, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children and teens experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, school-related stress, and other common social and emotional concerns. I use a warm, engaging approach that combines evidence-based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with interactive, play-based activities that help kids practice skills in real time. Many of the children I work with struggle with big emotions, frustration tolerance, or staying flexible when things don’t go as planned. Sessions focus on helping kids build and practice coping and problem-solving skills through supportive, hands-on activities. I also support teens who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and the pressures that often come with school and adolescence. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood while developing tools that help them feel more confident and capable in everyday life.
