Biography

Hello! My name is Alicia Domino, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. With a background as an educator and school counselor, I bring a unique perspective on the social, emotional, and academic pressures young people face today. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and healthy coping strategies. I also believe in the importance of involving families in the therapeutic process when appropriate, so that positive change extends beyond the counseling room. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional and behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I am especially dedicated to helping adolescents strengthen their self-identity, resilience, and relationships. At the heart of my counseling approach is the belief that every client has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients and their families on their journey toward greater well-being.
