Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings warmth, authenticity, creativity, and deep compassion to my practice. I support children, adolescents, and adults on their journey toward healing and growth. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois–Chicago, where I built a strong foundation in clinical practice, holistic care, and trauma-informed approaches. My clinical work includes supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perinatal loss, ADHD, chronic illness, identity and self-worth struggles, relationship and singleness concerns, and parenting-related stress. Clients often describe me as vibrant, genuine, empathetic, and deeply understanding, qualities that shape a welcoming and supportive therapeutic atmosphere. An energetic and authentic presence helps clients feel safe, seen, and encouraged from the moment we begin our work together. Known as a deep thinker, natural conversationalist, and attentive listener, I’m mindful of both the emotional and practical layers of each person’s story. Warmth, gentle humor, and a nurturing spirit are woven into each session, creating space for clients to show up as their full, authentic selves. For some clients, their faith is deeply connected to how they heal and make meaning of their experiences. For those seeking a faith-informed approach, I offer Christian Integrative Counseling. While this is the only spiritual framework I integrate clinically, I honor and respect each client’s personal beliefs and support their healing with a grounded, compassionate presence. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices while honoring the whole person encompassing mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate expressive arts into the therapeutic process, using music, creative writing, movement, and drawing as therapeutic tools that help clients process emotions, gain insight, and connect more deeply with themselves. I strive to cultivate a safe, uplifting environment where clients feel affirmed, understood, and empowered to grow. My goal is to help individuals uncover their strengths, deepen their self-awareness, and move toward emotional well-being, wholeness, and meaningful personal transformation.
