Biography

Getting started with counseling can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. I believe therapy should be a safe, relaxed space where clients feel comfortable sharing, exploring, and growing. Counseling can also be engaging and even enjoyable. For those who feel uneasy with traditional talk therapy, I often incorporate activities into sessions to help clients feel more at ease while still encouraging open and meaningful conversation. I take a client-centered approach, believing that clients are the most important people in the room. Drawing from cognitive-behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and other evidence-based modalities, I tailor each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the individual. My role is not to “fix” clients, but to provide practical tools, insight, and support that empower them to create lasting change, healing, and growth.
