Biography

I am currently working towards my license in Florida and have extensive training in play therapy, trauma, and school related concerns. Although I primarily work with children and teens, I also enjoy working with adults to help navigate the chaos and joy of life. With over a decade of experience as both an educator and school counselor in elementary and middle schools, I bring a deep understanding of the academic, emotional, and social factors that impact the wellbeing of today’s youth. Recognizing that growth happens within the context of systems, I collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school staff to strengthen communication and nurture connection. My hope is that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered through the messiness and magic of everyday life. I am passionate about providing trauma-informed, highly attuned care to the clients I support. I have a special place in my heart for individuals with high sensitivity or neurodivergence, honoring their individuality and strengths. I am also experienced in supporting those experiencing grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, changes within the family structure, and many more complexities of life. Through play-based and person-centered approaches, I create a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their feelings, express themselves freely, and connect with their inner resilience.
