Biography

I am a compassionate mental health counselor who began as a teacher. After teaching Behavior Disorders for 10 years, I graduated from University of St. Louis-Missouri with a counseling degree and was a school counselor for the last 14 years of my public school career. Since that time, I ran my own practice from home, worked on line with many telehelp clients, and worked a year at an Air Force Base. I am deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, PTSD, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices. I create a caring, non-judgemental, safe environment where clients feel heard and can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self-worth.
