I find it a privilege to work with adolescents and adults through virtual therapy services. I work with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADD, ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorders, grief and bereavement, life adjustments, self-esteem, self-image, suicidal ideaions, non suicidal self injurious behavior, family and relationship dysfunction, and more. By using the theoretical bases including cognitive behavioral, person-centred, existential, humanistic, and multicultural approaches, I help my clients examine and understand the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behavior choices. Primarily, I believe in “the power of story,” and find it is of great benefit for patients to be able to tell their stories in a safe, accepting, non-judgmental setting. Through our work together, my clients achieve outcomes that lead them to a sense of awareness, understanding , and more control over the struggles that initially encouraged them to seek support.

I am a empathic, patient, and open-minded therapist who values creating a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space for every client. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without fear of shame or guilt. My approach is person-centered and direct, meeting you where you are while honoring your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I see myself as a supportive tool in your healing and/or growth journey, walking alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges. I have experience working with individuals facing depression, anger management concerns, OCD, PTSD, trauma, self-esteem issues, family conflict, and stress. I am committed to working with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s developmental and emotional needs. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Johnson C. Smith University, an education that supports my belief in collaboration and holistic care. This training allows me to work with clients to explore and address the various areas of their lives that may be contributing to stress or concern. My goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and confident as they move toward meaningful change and personal growth.

I’m a licensed mental health professional in North Carolina with over 10 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults move through life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in real-life understanding—not just clinical theory. I support clients facing stress, anxiety, emotional regulation struggles, self-esteem concerns, school or career challenges, and major life transitions. I provide a safe, supportive space for exploring difficult emotions and building the skills needed to navigate everyday life. When working with children and teens, I focus on helping them understand their feelings, build healthy coping skills, and communicate more effectively. I also work closely with caregivers and families, offering guidance, education, and support so they can better understand their child’s needs, strengthen communication at home, and feel more confident navigating challenges together. With adults, we explore patterns, build insight, and create practical strategies for healing and personal growth. Your experiences matter, and I’m here to support you with respect and care. You won’t get a one-size-fits-all approach from me. I blend practical tools with deep listening, trauma-informed care, and a strong belief in your ability to grow and heal. I work at your pace, and I honor the goals you bring to this space. Taking that first step toward change can feel heavy—but you don’t have to carry it alone. I’m here to walk beside you.
