I find it a privilege to work with adolescents and adults through virtual therapy services. I work with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADD, ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorders, grief and bereavement, life adjustments, self-esteem, self-image, suicidal ideaions, non suicidal self injurious behavior, family and relationship dysfunction, and more. By using the theoretical bases including cognitive behavioral, person-centred, existential, humanistic, and multicultural approaches, I help my clients examine and understand the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behavior choices. Primarily, I believe in “the power of story,” and find it is of great benefit for patients to be able to tell their stories in a safe, accepting, non-judgmental setting. Through our work together, my clients achieve outcomes that lead them to a sense of awareness, understanding , and more control over the struggles that initially encouraged them to seek support.

I am an interactive and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from the University of the Connecticut with an interest in supporting children, adolescents, and adults. I am passionate about supporting my clients as they navigate various concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, life transitions, loss, and difficult relationships. My approach to treatment is grounded in empathy, safety, collaboration, and playfulness. I believe in co-creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions, identify new coping skills, and implement the changes they desire to decrease their discomfort. My goal is to help my clients identify the contributing factors to their concerns, gain clarity and choice, and be open to working through the discomfort to create and practice lasting change.

I was drawn to mental health counseling because I've seen how profoundly people can change when they feel safe, seen, and supported. Therapy was a space where I began to understand myself in a deeper way, and that experience stayed with me. It inspired me to walk alongside others as they navigate their own challenges. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I listen, ask the right questions, and help you build tools and insight to move forward in a way that feels right for you. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and EMDR to help you process unhealthy thoughts and become more aware of your emotions without being overwhelmed. We'll begin by talking about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to work on. Whether your goals are clear or still taking shape, we'll define what progress might look like for you. I may ask about different areas of your life to get a fuller picture of who you are and how I can help. This is a safe space where you can be your authentic self.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses trauma-informed, person-centered approaches to support healing and growth. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the College of Charleston before completing my Master’s in Social Work. My experience spans working with young children and their parents through Child Parent Psychotherapy, as well as supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Major Depression. In my personal life, I love to read, camp, and play board games. I’m also a parent, a chronic illness warrior, and a lifelong nerd—roles that give me empathy, humor, and perspective in the work I do every day.
