Biography

I am a compassionate and empathetic mental health therapist dedicated to supporting and empowering children ages 10 and up, adolescents, and women as they navigate life's challenges and transitions. I strive to create a welcoming, safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2011 and my Master of Social Work from the University of England in 2021. My professional background includes high-risk maternal health, therapeutic foster care, social services, and psychotherapy, which allows me to bring a well-rounded, trauma-informed perspective to my work. I believe strongly in the power of validation, resilience, and self-compassion. Whether supporting a child learning to express emotions, an adolescent facing identity development or life stressors, or a parent seeking guidance and reassurance, I work collaboratively to build coping skills, confidence, and emotional well-being. My goal is to help clients and families feel empowered, supported, and capable of finding their own sense of pace, balance, and self-worth.
