I'm a Licenced Master Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to helping young adults thrive during this season. With 10 years of experience in mental health services, my approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I believe therapy is a space where you can finally be heard and truly supported, without judgement. I'm here for the stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, and life transitions that define this chapter. A little about me: I'm a proud Texas native and an alumnus of Texas State University and UT-Arlington. I became an LMSW in April 2024. It takes courage to seek support. I am excited to partner with you as you define your path.

Hello, I’m NaTasha McCarty, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Danielle Young, LPC-S, PSYD, NCC, LCDC-I as well as a certified Professional School Counselor. I began my academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Prairie View A&M University. I later pursued my passion for supporting students and families by obtaining a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, followed by additional coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria. Before stepping into my current role, I spent 14 years in the field of education, serving as an educator, mentor, sports coach, and school counselor. These experiences, combined with my clinical training, have shaped my counseling journey and informed my therapeutic approach. They’ve allowed me to connect deeply with diverse individuals and families, and have provided me with a well-rounded perspective that I bring into every session. I have had the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including low self-esteem, relationship building, bullying, academic struggles, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, depression, major life transitions, and anxiety. I use an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychoeducational strategies. My passion lies in working with school-aged children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and their families. I am especially committed to helping members of my local community navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and create actionable goals for the future. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment, partnering with individuals from all backgrounds as they work toward personal growth and emotional well-being. I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey and look forward to supporting you as you grow, heal, and work toward becoming the best version of yourself.

With over 24 years of experience as an education professional, I bring a compassionate, strengths-based approach to counseling that is rooted in years of service as a school counselor and higher education professional. I have a deep understanding of the emotional and developmental needs of children, teens, and young adults. My career has been dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve their personal and academic goals. My background includes extensive work with students with disabilities, providing support that honors each individual's unique strengths and challenges. I’ve served as a school counselor across all grade levels, from elementary to high school, and understand the complexities students and families face within educational systems. As a school counselor, I work extensively with children and families, supporting emotional, social, and academic development. In higher education, I’ve specialized in working with adults with disabilities, empowering them to access resources, advocate for their needs, and thrive in their academic and personal lives. Additionally, my personal experience as a caregiver has given me a compassionate lens for supporting clients through burnout, grief, and life transitions. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I am passionate about walking alongside clients through life’s transitions, offering a safe and inclusive space for healing and growth. My approach integrates person-centered and cognitive-behavioral techniques with a deep respect for each client’s unique story and strengths.

Hi, I’m Carla Perez, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a Master’s in Counseling from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I work with children, teens, and adults who are facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and life transitions. I also have experience working with unaccompanied children, offering support and a safe space during some of the most uncertain and vulnerable moments in their lives. I provide services in both English and Spanish, and I’m passionate about ensuring my clients feel seen, heard, and understood—especially in the language they feel most comfortable with. I approach my work with cultural sensitivity and a deep respect for each person’s unique background and story. At my core, I believe in the power of kindness, connection, and creating a space where people feel safe to be themselves. Whether I’m working with a young child or an adult, I strive to build trusting, supportive relationships where healing and growth can happen at each person’s own pace. It’s truly an honor to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strength.
