I think our intake session with my 10 year old daughter went really well. She took time out during our session to explain things to my daughter that made her feel more comfortable.

I loved how Apree met us where we were (let Elliott be distracted and fiddle with Legos) but also talked to him on his level.

For the first time, my son told me he enjoys speaking with his therapist and wants to continue sessions. He is usually very reluctant to participate, so hearing that after just one session meant a lot. He quickly built a genuine connection with him, and we are incredibly grateful. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You can visit www.emorahealth.com/products to find availability by appointment type, preferred provider, and more. This will show each provider's next available appointment date, whether you're looking for therapy, medication, or evaluations.
For therapy and medication, appointments are typically available from some therapists as early as the next day. For evaluations, we do our best to have open availability every week.
Most families pay $0–$30 per session. We're in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Optum, United, TRICARE, and more. During sign-up we verify your benefits and walk you through any costs before your first session.
Emora's licensed pediatric therapists serve families in Texas, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and more. You can browse therapists by state and availability, then book a free 15-minute match call.
A child therapist provides talk therapy and behavioral support. A child psychologist primarily helps with ADHD, autism, and other behavioral and developmental assessments. A child psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse practitioner can prescribe and manage psychiatric medication. At Emora, the three work as a team — you can see a therapist, a psychologist, or a psychiatrist, or all three, and they share notes with your permission.
