Biography
I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and my Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University. Originally from Connecticut, I moved to Charlotte in 2022. I have over 13 years of behavioral health experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. I am especially passionate about working with children and adolescents. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space where both patients and their families feel heard and supported. I believe family involvement is a vital part of treatment. By working closely with families, I strive to promote growth, resilience, and overall well-being. I focus on holistic, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care to meet the unique needs of each child and family.

The psychiatrist was very thorough on how the medication prescribed would help my daughter, and went over side effects as well. She was helpful and easy to talk to.

I like the fact that she suggested that we should do ADHD testing and I like that she was asking him questions that were making him think a little about his answers. It was very helpful and it sparked discussion for us afterwards
