Biography
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a graduate of Liberty University. I became a counselor because I believe every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and safe throughout their healthcare journey. Experiences within healthcare can shape how children and families approach care for years to come, and I am passionate about helping make those experiences positive, grounded, and reassuring. I also strive to help parents feel less alone as they navigate concerns about their child's well-being and more confident in the decisions they make along the way. My approach is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and genuine connection. I find meaning in supporting children and adolescents as they navigate difficult experiences while recognizing and building on their unique strengths. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. With curiosity and a nonjudgmental perspective, I work to honor each child's individuality while supporting their autonomy in ways that are appropriate for their developmental stage. As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to fit each client's unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to support personal growth and healing. My goal is to help clients uncover their strengths, gain clarity, and create a path toward personal growth and resilience.
