Biography

I am a dedicated mental health counselor with experience supporting adolescents, young women, and mothers through the unique challenges of anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, and postpartum adjustment. My background includes working in inpatient hospital settings, where I guided adolescents coping with severe depression, anxiety, and anger through group therapy and crisis intervention. I have collaborated closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to provide individualized treatment plans that address both emotional and behavioral needs. In addition, I have worked in a Catholic nonprofit group practice offering therapy in Spanish to clients of all ages and couples, as well as supporting children with autism in both group and individual settings. My therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based care, with the goal of helping each client feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. I strive to create a supportive environment where young women and mothers can reduce stress, strengthen self-worth, and build resilience as they navigate life’s challenges.
