Biography

I bring humor and authenticity into therapy because sometimes laughing at life’s chaos helps make sense of it. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can openly process challenges and reconnect with yourself. I support clients navigating anxiety, stress, depression, emotional regulation, and relationship concerns. Using an eclectic approach including CBT, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.

Frequently asked questions

What does our first session look like?

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, any concerns or goals you have, and I’ll answer any questions you may have for me.

For teens and children: The parent or guardian will join for part of the first session so we can discuss concerns, goals, and answer any questions. The second half of the session is typically spent one-on-one with the child or teen so we can begin building the therapeutic relationship and have space to share openly.

How do you decide together when therapy is done?

Therapy is a collaborative process, so we’ll decide together when it feels like the right time to end services. Typically, this happens when you’ve made progress toward your goals, feel more confident managing challenges on your own, and have the tools and support you need moving forward.

Our son's therapist has helped him and us immeasurably by offering coping skills and by repeating back to us what she hears, and by listening and filtering through what our crucial issues seem to be. We ALL have found her extremely helpful, patient, and thoughtful.
