Biography
I am a compassionate, empathetic, and open-minded mental health counselor who graduated from Prairie View A&M University. With over 20 years in public school education with children and adolescents and 8 years clinical experience in clinical health settings, I am deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults develop effective coping skills to successfully navigate relational challenges, including but not limiting to anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship, coping skills, family conflict, problem-solving skills, and assertive communication. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client feels heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self-worth. My goal is to help clients uncover their strengths, gain clarity, and create a path toward personal growth and resilience. I leverage my professional knowledge to empower, educate, and inspire individuals to become the best version of themselves.
