Biography

Sean Stanford, MA, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) dedicated to helping individuals achieve meaningful and lasting personal growth. He earned his master’s degree from Southern University and A&M College, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based counseling practices. Sean primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge irrational beliefs, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. His therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on empowering clients with practical skills they can apply in their everyday lives. Sean believes that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, and one of his primary goals is to teach clients how to recognize, manage, and reshape their thinking in order to create healthier emotional responses and more positive behavioral outcomes.
