Hello, thanks for reading my Bio. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and I obtained my first license in 2004. I am also a doctor of clinical and forensic psychology and have taught college level psychology in the past. I love being a psychotherapist because I love to see patients get to that place of resolution or confidence that they have the right coping skills for any situation. I am trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, which I combine with Christian faith based techniques. I work with children as young as six, teenagers, adults, and seniors. A lot of my experience has been working with patients who are struggling with anxiety symptoms, depression, parenting challenges, blended family issues, trauma, work place stress, life transitions, to mention just a few. I look forward to talking with you about your particular situation.

The session was conducted well. My concern is my child isn’t transparent in these sessions. We discussed his reactions to things and after the call he was angry, saying I had lied, to the point that he broke a plate, tried to destroy a rug and furniture. We explained we would take his gaming device for the remainder of the week, which we did as he responded poorly. After some hateful comments and cussing, he calmed down and we worked on his homework together.
