Biography

Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Recreational Therapist based in Texas. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and the everyday stress that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi (my home state) in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Psychology. I later earned my Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Southern University. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both teaching and therapy roles, which allows me to bring a supportive, engaging, and down-to-earth approach into the work I do with clients. My style is warm, collaborative, and real. I want you to feel like you can show up as yourself—no pressure, no judgment. I use a person-centered foundation while integrating approaches like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and experiential techniques to help you better understand yourself and build tools that actually work in your day-to-day life. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I’m especially passionate about helping people build emotional awareness, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with who they are outside of stress, expectations, or past experiences. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you gain clarity, feel more grounded, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
