Biography
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, constantly masking, or exhausted from trying to keep up? I help teens and adults navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, emotional burnout, and the mental weight of chronic illness in a way that feels supportive, practical, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is collaborative, validating, and human. Please know that blankets, snacks, fidgets, stuffed animals, and unmasking are always welcome here. You don’t have to pretend you’re “fine” to deserve support.

Frequently asked questions
What does our first session look like?
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We'll start with introductions, and yes, you’re welcome to bring your favorite blanket, stuffy, fidget, or snacks! I’ll ask questions about your background, what’s been going on, your strengths, and what you hope therapy can help with. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions about me and my approach. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and a little less nervous than when you first signed in.
How often will you communicate with me as a parent?
Parent check-ins typically occur every 6–8 weeks, though this can vary based on your child’s age and needs. During these meetings, I provide psychoeducation, discuss general themes, and share resources or strategies you can try at home. Confidentiality remains a priority, as trust is essential for effective therapy. Together, we'll determine what information your child feels comfortable sharing and what parent support would be most helpful while maintaining a safe therapeutic space.
How will I know if therapy is working?
Therapy progress looks different for every one. Sometimes progress shows up in small moments, a genuine smile that hasn’t been seen in a while, finishing a load of laundry, keeping backpack clean and organized, or managing emotions a little more effectively. Other times it shows up in bigger ways, like improved confidence, healthier relationships, better communication, or recognizing negative thought patterns before spiraling. Progress isn't always linear, but we'll regularly discuss goals and celebrate growth along the way.
Do you give homework or practice between sessions?
Yes, but not in the traditional "worksheet every week" sense. When appropriate, I may suggest coping skills to practice, journaling prompts, creative projects, mindfulness exercises, movement activities, dance parties, grounding challenges, or family conversations to try between sessions. I also love recommending books, podcasts, articles, and even creating music playlists together in session that reinforce what we're working on. The goal is to help therapy show up in everyday life, not just during our time together.

I appreciate Tiffany and all of the hard work she accomplishes with me. She is kind and compassionate and relatable and meets me where I’m at every time. I’ve given her feedback several times and she is so warm and appreciative and always expresses that she loves when clients are open and honest about their experiences. I would recommend Tiffany to any and everyone interested in seeing a therapist.

I had a wonderful experience during my session. Mrs. Alley, was incredibly attentive and insightful. She did a great job of listening to my concerns and helped me break down a big problem into manageable parts. I left the session feeling clearer and more hopeful, with three practical tools I can use right away. I highly recommend Mrs. Alley, to anyone seeking a thoughtful and effective approach to therapy.

As always, Tiffany not only listens to understand and build upon, but she also leverages what she's learned to challenge my thinking. She makes me more aware of my own hindrances and helps me build processes to overcome them positively. My marriage has improved and I can earnestly say that both Individually and collectively we've grown stronger as a result of our weekly sessions. They are a true highlight of our week!
