Biography

I am a bilingual (Spanish–English) therapist with a graduate degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University and specialized training in child and adolescent counseling. I provide clinical services to school-aged children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals and families from immigrant and culturally diverse backgrounds. I treat a range of mental health concerns, including trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger dysregulation, and self-esteem difficulties. My clinical approach is empathetic, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with attention to cultural humility and responsiveness. I prioritize the creation of a safe, supportive therapeutic environment to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and sustained psychological well-being, particularly for individuals navigating acculturation stress, migration-related trauma, and systemic barriers.
