Biography
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I provide assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, young adults/college students, and adults. My clinical work primarily consists of outpatient individual therapy services, delivered through telehealth. I have experience supporting clients who are experiencing concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, adjustment-related difficulties, ADHD, and interpersonal relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also incorporating Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy interventions based on each client’s needs and goals. I believe clients have the ability to make meaningful changes in their lives and are capable of identifying solutions when provided with appropriate support, insight, and tools. My role is to serve as a facilitator in this process by helping clients strengthen self-awareness, develop healthier thought patterns, improve coping skills, and increase confidence and self-esteem. I am committed to providing a supportive, nonjudgmental, and emotionally safe environment where clients can explore challenges openly and work toward personal growth. Rather than offering advice or directing outcomes, I aim to empower clients through insight, skill-building, and collaboration. While therapy can involve deep emotional and personal exploration, it is important to recognize that the counseling relationship is professional rather than social. Maintaining clear ethical and professional boundaries is a vital component of effective therapy, and I uphold these boundaries to support a healthy therapeutic alliance and positive clinical outcomes.
