Biography

I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) who graduated with distinction from Capella University with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families across the lifespan—from children to adults—as they navigate challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral concerns, family dynamics, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, primarily drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and family systems work. I integrate techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. Whether working with children through engaging, creative interventions or supporting adults and families in building healthier patterns, I believe in meeting clients where they are. I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals and families feel heard, validated, and empowered to create meaningful change. My goal is to help clients discover their inherent strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience as they work toward healing and personal growth. I specialize in trauma-informed care and believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster lasting transformation.
