Frequently asked questions

What does our first session look like?

I prefer to initially speak with a parent or guardian at the beginning of the first session. With or without a parent, your child can then join the session. I will ask your child questions to understand how your child percieves the issue(s) they are experiencing from their point of view. I am open to the parent or guardian continuing to be in the first session, especially if your child or teen would feel unduly uncomfortable without a parent. I have great rapport with children, adolescents, and adults.
