Hi, I'm Deanna Ruocco, MSW, LCSW Florida-licensed psychotherapist with over 22 years of professional experience. I specialize in helping adults, teens, and couples who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, trauma responses, or emotional overwhelm-even when life looks "fine" on the outside. My work is rooted in trauma-informed, body-based therapy, integrating EMDR, Somatic Experiencing-informed practices, CBT, parts work, Jungian theory, Solution-Focused therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. I believe healing happens not just through insight, but through reconnecting with the body, nervous system, and inner parts that carry past experiences. I provide a safe, grounded space to slow down, explore what's beneath the surface, and build a sense of safety and self-trust. Together, we work toward more clarity, emotional regulation, and confidence-so you can show up in your life with greater ease and authenticity. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply respectful of each client's lived experience. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating relationships, or seeking lasting change beyond coping strategies, you don't have to do it alone.

Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Finding her has been one of the best things that has happened to me. She is incredibly easy to talk to, caring, genuine, and makes you feel truly heard without judgment. She has helped me understand myself, grow, and is even helping save my relationship by teaching us how to communicate better. I almost don't want to recommend her because she is so amazing she is often booked up, but she deserves all the praise. I’m so grateful I found her.

Deanna is a true professional and passionately cares about my road to recovery. Speaking with a therapist is very difficult and something i never thought i would be able to do, but she makes me feel comfortable and very natural.
