Biography

I am a compassionate mental health counselor who graduated from Long Island University with my degree in mental health counseling. I am deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, anger management, PTSD, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client feels heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self-worth. My goal is to help clients uncover their strengths, gain clarity, and create a path toward personal growth and resilience

Parent of a 16 year old

This was our first time trying therapy, and he made my son feel very comfortable right from the start. He created a safe and welcoming environment, which really helped ease any nervousness. We’re grateful for the positive experience and look forward to continuing.

Michael is very good with teens. Very good. He incorporated the family in the sessions where appropriate. He was heavily focused on tools. Recommended.
