Biography
I am a compassionate mental health counselor who graduated from Barry University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before entering the counseling field, I worked as a Special Education teacher, which helped shape my passion for supporting individuals and families with empathy, patience, and understanding. I support children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, grief, self-esteem, emotional regulation, life transitions, and family stress. I also have experience supporting families with neurodivergent experiences, including Autism and ADHD. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in empathy and evidence-based practices, with a focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, recognize their strengths, and create meaningful steps toward healing, resilience, and emotional wellness.
