Biography

I am a warm and welcoming counselor who is committed to bridging gaps and embodying cultural competence/sensitivity. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My hope is to be a supportive space for those navigating the nuances of life and mental wellness. I have experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, and trauma. I am passionate about serving marginalized populations, hence my work with the LGBTQIA+ community as well as ethnic minorities (BIPOC, Latin, AAPI). My approach is a blend of brief interventions to relieve discomfort today and deeper work to relieve longstanding distress. My goal is to highlight the resilience that already exists while strengthening your skills for long-term growth, such as self-awareness, emotion regulation, and coping strategies. The work may not be easy, but you don’t have to do it alone.
