Biography

Finding the right therapist can be one of the most important steps on your healing journey—like having a trusted mentor who walks beside you at your own pace and truly listens. My name is Gail Wilson, a Mental Health Counselor, National Board Certified Christian Counselor, Certified Trauma Specialist, and Doctoral Candidate in Community Care and Traumatology Counseling. I have years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I will focus on supporting your journey toward healing, helping you to process and find peace from past wounds with care, compassion, and practical strategies. I serve diverse populations, including neurodivergent individuals (ADHD and Autism), youth involved in the juvenile justice system, students in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) programs, families experiencing crisis, and both young and older adults navigating major life transitions. My goal is to help individuals rise above life’s struggles, reclaim their confidence, and step into their strength. I also honor the role that faith may have in the healing process for those who wish to incorporate it into their counseling. Together, we will create a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing and transformation, it’s time to ARISE.
