Biography

I am a compassionate mental health counselor with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater emotional well-being. Before becoming a mental health therapist, I spent ten years working as a social worker in a variety of settings, including group homes for children, inpatient addiction treatment programs, domestic violence services, and organizations that connected homeless families with essential resources and support. These experiences strengthened my commitment to helping individuals overcome adversity and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I have experience helping clients facing a variety of concerns, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, anger management challenges, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, solution-focused, and grounded in evidence-based practices, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. I believe that meaningful growth begins in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy techniques for children, I help clients identify their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create positive, lasting change. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, gain greater self-awareness, strengthen their sense of self-worth, and move forward with confidence. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting well-being.
