Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have been practicing for eight years. I work with people four years of age and above. My background includes teaching children English in South Korea and volunteering in the Peace Corps. I also enjoy the creative arts, biking, kayaking, and traveling with friends and family. I am a compassionate and empathic therapist. I have a master's degree in art therapy counseling and can incorporate creative modalities into our sessions if you are interested. My passion is being of service to others. We all have roadblocks along our life path and together we can navigate through your struggles and challenges. I have a collaborative approach and believe each client is the expert of themself. I commonly work with issues of depression, anxiety, panic, stress, self-esteem, domestic violence, pregnancy and perinatal issues, trauma, loss and grief, managing conflict, identity, navigating issues outside your control, communication skills, and understanding empathic and highly sensitive personalities, among other issues. Feel free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
