Biography

New school year, new pressures — and it's showing up at home. I work with kids, teens, young adults, and adults on ADHD, anxiety, school avoidance, and the emotional weight of holding it together. My approach combines talk therapy with body-based tools, so you don't just cope — you build real capacity. Evening and after-school times available. Together we build something that holds.

Frequently asked questions

What does our first session look like?

The first session is an intake. We get clear on what brought you here, what's already been tried, and what you want to be different.

For children and teens: I meet with you and your child — some of it together, some with your child on their own. Parents leave the first session knowing what we're working on and how we'll know it's working.

For young adults and adults: It's just you. No pressure to have it organized before you arrive — sorting through it is part of the work.

How will I know if therapy is working?

We build a treatment plan with clear milestones tied to your goals. Progress is tracked against the interventions we're actually using, so you're not guessing — you're watching specific markers move. When the skills get practiced and the process gets engaged, progress follows. If something isn't working, we change the plan. That's expected, not a setback.

How often will you communicate with me as a parent?

Parents of children and younger teens: We set expectations together at intake, then check in as milestones are reached. You'll hear about themes, progress, and anything safety-related. You won't get a transcript — your child needs some privacy for the work to function. If you want more frequent updates, we build that in from the start.

Young adults and adults (18+): What you say in session stays in session. Nothing goes to a parent, partner, or anyone else without your written permission. The exceptions are the standard clinical ones around safety, and I'll tell you what those are at intake.

What does your approach actually look like?

Skills-based and practical. We name what's happening in the nervous system underneath the behavior — the avoidance, the shutdown, the spiraling, the trouble getting started — and then build actual tools for it. The goal is skills that hold across different stressors, not a new technique every time something goes wrong.
