I don't believe that therapy is a "one-size fits all" approach. Long term success requires an individualized approach. It is my goal to assist my clients with finding a therapeutic approach that meets your individual needs. I have years of experience working with diverse populations including active-duty military personnel and their dependents, veterans, couples seeking pre-marital, marital and relationship counseling, adults experiencing anxiety, depression and adjustment related symptoms, college/university populations and those with a history of trauma. The session was conducted well. My concern is my child isn’t transparent in these sessions. We discussed his reactions to things and after the call he was angry, saying I had lied, to the point that he broke a plate, tried to destroy a rug and furniture. We explained we would take his gaming device for the remainder of the week, which we did as he responded poorly. After some hateful comments and cussing, he calmed down and we worked on his homework together.
