Biography
My name is Kellice Meadows , I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSWA), and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCASA) I earned my master’s and bachelor’s degrees in social work from North Carolina Central University in Durham North Carolina where she graduated Magna Cum Lauda. I was named President of The National Social Work Honors Society (Phi Alpha) NCCU Chapter where she served for two years until graduating. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults using an eclectic approach that integrates person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Family systems Therapy (FST). Kellice has served in several capacities throughout her Social Work career serving the families in North Carolina for the past 15 years. Her faith has brought her through Life’s Journeys, that same Faith has kept her grounded because she knows “Where Her Help comes from”. I recognize that every client is different, so I tailor my approach to best meet each individual’s needs. My goal is to help clients develop healthy coping skills and practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. I have worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, self-harm, conflict in relationships, and LGBTQIA+ identity concerns. Kellice is passionate about being a change agent for youth and families suffering from trauma, social determinants, and mental health. I am passionate about assisting individuals with building resilience, and developing the tools they need to thrive in all areas of life. She is also passionate about the Holistic approach to Living. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, vacationing, cooking and shopping.
