Biography
Bridgette began her career in counseling through obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and furthered her education by obtaining a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Bridgette has worked in a number of clinical settings, including mental health, substance use and dual diagnosis with children, adolescents, couples, adults and families. Presently, Bridgette is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida. Her approach is client-centered and strengths based, she encourages her clients to create change and positive core beliefs while empowering them to live a fulfilled life. She incorporates interventions including CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Mindfulness and Solution Focused theories.
