Ms. Alladin was so amazingly thoughtful with how she connected with Desi. My daughter is always easily distracted, but she was able to understand that and seamlessly redirect her during the session.

I’m Erika, a clinical social worker who’s passionate about helping kids, teens, and young adults feel understood, supported, and empowered. Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary or boring — my goal is to make it a safe space where you can be yourself, ask questions, and explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I bring a wide cultural perspective to my work. As an immigrant who spent most of my life abroad and comes from a Hispanic and Italian family, I provide a unique understanding of different cultures, traditions, and ways of seeing the world. Whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, friendships, school, identity, or just figuring out the next stage in life I’m here to help you build skills, find your voice, and feel more confident.

I help adolescents, young adults, adults, and families regain clarity, emotional control, and forward momentum when stress, pressure, or life transitions begin to take over. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, articulate, and capable, yet feel overwhelmed, stuck, or reactive in ways that don’t fully make sense to them. Stress may show up as overthinking, irritability, emotional shutdown, avoidance, or a constant sense of pressure to perform at school, at home, or in relationships. My approach focuses on helping clients understand how emotions and stress responses actually work — not just talking about feelings, but learning how to regulate them in real time. I help translate emotional experiences into clear, usable language and practical skills so clients can respond more effectively rather than feeling controlled by their reactions. Parents often seek therapy when they sense something isn’t working but aren’t sure how to help without escalating tension. I aim to support teens without pathologizing them, while also helping families understand the broader patterns contributing to stress and overwhelm. My style is calm, structured, and collaborative. Therapy doesn’t need to be chaotic or overwhelming to be effective. When clients feel understood, regulated, and equipped with the right tools, meaningful progress follows.

I am a compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern who graduated from Northcentral University with a specialization in clinical marriage and family therapy. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. My clinical experience includes supporting clients impacted by trauma, emotional abuse, domestic violence, parental divorce, substance-related family dynamics, and complex loss. I utilize evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method to tailor care to each client’s needs. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in empathy, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to help clients build resilience, gain clarity, and reconnect with their strengths to support lasting growth and well-being.

Welcome and pleasure to meet you! I am a compassionate, master’s-level therapist with a diverse clinical background in clinical mental health counseling spanning from infant mental health, general mental health, and addiction/substance use recovery. My experience across these areas has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges individuals and families face at every stage of life. I have a particular passion for working with children and families, supporting them through early developmental concerns, relational challenges, and emotional difficulties. I have worked with a wide range of ages, from toddlers and preschoolers to adolescents and adults, tailoring my approach to meet each of my client’s unique needs together. I also have history utilizing neurofeedback and brain mapping, having worked in a clinical facility applying these with both addiction and mental health populations. My therapeutic approach ranges from modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), trauma-informed care, play therapy interventions, and much more. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where individuals of all ages feel truly heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
