Biography

I am a compassionate mental health counselor supporting children, teens, and adults through challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem concerns, and grief. My approach is calm, empathetic, and evidence-based, integrating CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, coping skills, and resilience-building exercises in both individual and group settings. I am committed to creating culturally affirming spaces where clients feel seen and empowered as they navigate generational trauma, discrimination, and barriers to care. I have a strong focus on supporting Black women and men through racialized stress, identity struggles, and the emotional impact of systemic oppression, as well as providing grief counseling for individuals and families experiencing loss and life transitions. By combining clinical expertise with advocacy, I strive to equip clients with the tools and confidence to create lasting, meaningful change while challenging systems that contribute to emotional distress.
