Biography

I am a warm, compassionate therapist who enjoys working with both children and adults. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and my Master’s degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Because I believe that each person is uniquely created by God, I use a person-centered approach that incorporates CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy as well as some mindfulness techniques. Faith is a meaningful part of my life, and I believe mental health and faith go hand in hand. My work is rooted in compassion, collaboration, encouragement, and guidance. Creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported is at the heart of my work. My goal is for you to feel seen, empowered, and hopeful as we walk this journey together and navigate life’s challenges and victories. Because both the challenges and the victories teach lessons that help us grow. Growth is what is all about, progress over perfection.
