Biography

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with children and teens (ages 6–17) and mothers navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I strive to create a warm, culturally responsive, and emotionally safe space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I help young people facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and emotional or school-related challenges build confidence and healthy coping skills through developmentally appropriate, play-based approaches. I also specialize in maternal mental health, supporting mothers through prenatal and postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the many transitions that come with parenthood. My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. As a Black therapist with Caribbean roots, I am deeply committed to providing affirming care that honors each client’s story, culture, and lived experience.
