Biography

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a strong commitment to supporting children and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Elizabeth City State University and my Master of Social Work from Walden University, where I developed a solid foundation in evidence-based and culturally responsive practice. I have experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan and am deeply passionate about helping individuals build insight, resilience, and effective coping skills. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, and life stressors. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My goal as a therapist is to partner with clients in identifying their strengths, developing practical strategies, and fostering emotional growth that leads to lasting positive change. I believe healing is a collaborative process, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they work toward improved well-being, confidence, and a more balanced life.
