Biography

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or like you’re carrying too much? You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I support women, moms, teens, and children through big emotions, life transitions, self-worth, and relationships. Through CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and play therapy, I create a safe space to feel seen, understood, and supported while building emotional awareness, confidence, and healthier ways to cope. Working with me feels like someone who understands the assignment.

Frequently asked questions

What does our first session look like?

In our first session, you’ll feel confident in your decision to start. I'll create a comfortable, warm, judgement free space to talk openly, understand what brought you to therapy, and identify where you’d like support.

Do you give homework or practice between sessions?

Absolutely! I believe a lot of insight and growth happens outside of the therapy space. In our sessions, we’ll use hands-on activities, practical tools, and real life strategies that you can practice between sessions.

How do you handle confidentiality with teens?

Everyone deserves a safe space to process, and feel heard. I protect your teen’s privacy and create space for them to be open and honest in therapy. If I have concerns about their safety or someone else’s safety, I will involve a parent or guardian as appropriate. Parents are always welcome to check in about their teen’s overall progress while respecting the confidentiality of what is shared in session.

What if my child or teen won't open up to you?

That’s totally okay! I don’t expect trust to happen overnight. I take time to build rapport by learning about their interests, favorite teams, sports, games, music, and the things that matter to them. I personalize sessions so therapy feels comfortable and engaging. If they’re still having a hard time connecting after a few sessions, we’ll talk together about what may be getting in the way and how I can better support them.

First session lasted longer than I expected, my daughter is very much anti-therapy, so I was happy it went as long as it did. She didn’t hate it so I’m hopeful for the next session.
