Biography
Hello, I'm Keyshon Floyd, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing virtual therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and families across Texas. I am passionate about helping children and teens navigate life's challenges in a safe, supportive environment where they feel heard, understood, and accepted. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I have a special interest in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, anxiety, life transitions, family challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation or self-esteem. My experience includes providing trauma-focused therapy through a Children's Advocacy Center, where I support children and families impacted by abuse, trauma, and other adverse life experiences. I believe healing happens when young people feel safe enough to be themselves and explore their experiences without judgment. I also value partnering with caregivers, recognizing the important role they play in a child's growth and healing. My goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing with greater confidence, hope, and self-understanding.
