You may have found who you're looking for! I focus on individuals who are seeking clarity, spiritual guidance and understanding in their lives to become all they are purposed to be. Your diagnosis is not who you are. I will work with you in breaking free of the thoughts, symptoms and judgements that often hold you back. My goal is to provide individuals with tools to live a life worth living while celebrating the wins along the way. My passion is creating a judgement-free space for individuals to feel safe, heard and validated. I utilize CBT, DBT, Motivating Interviewing, Eclectic Therapy and other modalities. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I am inspired to assist you through your journey. I will see the best in you as you embrace the skills needed for your process.

I am a compassionate and down-to-earth mental health counselor who believes healing can include both hard work and a little laughter. I work with individuals facing life’s challenges, helping them identify obstacles, build coping skills, and develop strategies to overcome them. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and encouraged to show up as their authentic selves—messy moments included. Using a solution-focused and empowering approach, we work together to create practical steps that help you reach your goals and foster meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to support clients in growing into more confident, resilient versions of themselves, one step at a time.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human; not intimidating or overwhelming. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and strengths-based work. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their patterns, develop coping tools that actually fit their lives, and build confidence in themselves and their choices. I’m especially passionate about working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, parents and caregivers, and those balancing multiple responsibilities or feeling stuck at a crossroads. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change; at a pace that feels right for you.

My name is Shemise I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 3 years of experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, motivation, self esteem, confidence, & bipolar disorder and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. If you are reading this you have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings. You are not alone. Things can and will get better. I'm really looking forward to working with you! Warm regards, Shemise

Raymond does not share any information from his sessions with Roosevelt. I am particularly concerned because we still do not see any humility in our son. I would like to have a parent conference soon, to discuss his progress. Raymond will be out of school this whole week, so if Roosevelt can schedule him again for this week, anytime will work. Next week we will need to return to 4pm sessions.
