Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses trauma-informed, person-centered approaches to support healing and growth. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the College of Charleston before completing my Master’s in Social Work. My experience spans working with young children and their parents through Child Parent Psychotherapy, as well as supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Major Depression. In my personal life, I love to read, camp, and play board games. I’m also a parent, a chronic illness warrior, and a lifelong nerd—roles that give me empathy, humor, and perspective in the work I do every day.

She really put in the work to hear what the issues were and wanted to figure out the why. Very insightful and informative as well as fun and cared about Tommy.

Miranda is great with my son! She is very thorough and always takes the time to explain things to him and to me so that we both understand his treatment plan, and his goals.
