My therapist is extremely knowledgeable and is able to guide through finding out what the issue is without just telling me outright. She is also someone I can feel comfortable opening up to.

A child therapist provides talk therapy and behavioral support. A child psychologist primarily helps with ADHD, autism, and other behavioral and developmental assessments. A child psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse practitioner can prescribe and manage psychiatric medication. At Emora, the three work as a team — you can see a therapist, a psychologist, or a psychiatrist, or all three, and they share notes with your permission.
