Real stories of growth

Every session is rated by our clients, who provide real-time feedback to improve care.

Daniel focused on my daughter‘s strengths and was very tactful in leading the conversation about medication and diagnosis in front of my child.

I like that she listens to my son. She also gives him things to think about in regard to his actions and how he feels about consequences of his actions. She really does give him opportunity to think it through and understand how he could have handled things.

Good tempo and pace so far. AJ had some good probing questions for both Nadia and myself that made the session feel worthwhile. It was our first therapy session so there was some healthy amount of awkwardness but it felt needed and productive.

Elise is the sweetest. My daughter is new to online therapy so she is a bit hesitant at times. Elise is patient with her and moves at my daughters pace. I enjoy her talks as well and have learned several positive ways to help my daughter when she is struggling with big emotions.

We take a holistic approach to care in the deepest sense – involving a child’s goals, involving the family, focusing on context, and adapting to feedback from both the parent and child. We are on a mission to make therapy truly tailored to every patient.

Yes! Emora’s program was developed by leading psychiatric and behavioral experts to provide clinically validated, engaging, and effective care.

Our providers are carefully selected and cover a range of demographics, experiences, and styles to ensure every child or teen can work with someone who meshes well with them.

We account for each individual's preferences, goals, environment, and experiences to ensure we match a provider who can connect with the child or teen and has experience in treating what matters most to each patient.

We do! Currently, our screening and evaluation tools are directly for families, as well as through partner school districts.

Contact us to find out if your school district is covered by Emora Health.

Virtual therapy has been proven to be as effective as in-person therapy, with several added benefits:

  • Access to more therapists: Virtual therapy allows anyone to access a broader range of therapist for better child-provider matching.
  • Cost: Virtual therapy allows for reduced costs to the family, allowing us to offer our services to more people.
  • Convenience: Increased flexibility around when to meet with a therapist, without having to leave the comfort of your school or home.
  • Privacy: Nobody has to know if you are joining a therapy session unless you want them to know.

You can visit www.emorahealth.com/products to find availability by appointment type, preferred provider, and more. This will show each provider's next available appointment date, whether you're looking for therapy, medication, or evaluations.

For therapy and medication, appointments are typically available from some therapists as early as the next day. For evaluations, we do our best to have open availability every week.

Most families pay $0–$30 per session. We're in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Optum, United, TRICARE, and more. During sign-up we verify your benefits and walk you through any costs before your first session.

Emora's licensed pediatric therapists serve families in Texas, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and more. You can browse therapists by state and availability, then book a free 15-minute match call.

A child therapist provides talk therapy and behavioral support. A child psychologist primarily helps with ADHD, autism, and other behavioral and developmental assessments. A child psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse practitioner can prescribe and manage psychiatric medication. At Emora, the three work as a team — you can see a therapist, a psychologist, or a psychiatrist, or all three, and they share notes with your permission.
